25-03-2020 COVID-19 update - Guidance for isolating HydroChills

As more offices and workplaces are closing - with many now working remotely - due to the COVID 19 situation, customers are asking for guidance on what to do with their HydroChills during the periods of non-use. Please use the below guidance in these instances:

When leaving an office for periods of time longer than 48 hours

1.   Isolate the HydroTap

      a.   Turn the electrical power supply off

      b.   If possible, isolate the mains water at the valve (this is not essential but preferred)

2.   HydroChill does not require draining down

      a.   There is only a small amount of water stored within HydroChills, so no draining required. Flushing through will be required on return

When returning to an office after periods of time longer than 48 hours

1.   Turn the HydroChill back on

      a.   If mains water was isolated turn back on at the valve

      b.   Turn the electrical power supply on

2.   Flush through the HydroChill

      a.   3 litres of each water type (Ambient, Chilled and Sparkling dependant on customer product) will need to be flushed through the HydroChill

      b.   For instructions on how to flush through a HydroChill please see our FAQ

      c.   Your HydroChill is now ready for use
